Community Supported Agriculture or CSA is a partnership of support between consumers and farmers in which you, when becoming a member, are able to buy shares of the farm’s harvest and enjoy regular allotments of food throughout the growing season. Volunteers!!

Volunteers from the Bath Freight Shed Alliance swipe SNAP cards and credit cards during the Bath Farmers’ Market. Customers receive market tokens which they spend at the market. Under our SNAPMatch program, SNAP recipients receive bonus tokens worth 50% of the amount they purchase (for example, an additional $5 worth of tokens if they purchase $10), up to $15 a week. As a result, the fresh, healthy, local food at the Bath Farmers’ Market is affordable to all members of the community. This project is funded by donations, including donations for market tote bags. Our loyal volunteer team includes Phine Ewing, Pat Haag, Bob & Roberta Jordan (shown in the photo above), Wiebke Theodore, and Helen Webb. Talk to any team member about joining the team.

Tote Bag!

The Bath Farmers’ Market is accepting donations to sustain the SNAP Money Market Token Program. Anyone who makes a minimum donation of $12 will receive a Bath Farmers’ Market tote bag. This market tote bag meets the requirements of the new City of Bath ordinance for reusable shopping bags, set to go into effect on Earth Day, April 22, 2018. More infor. click here.
